I'm comming up and I have a nasty looking rust hole in the back passengers door... Haven't had a chance to fix that yet. :cry:

I enterd my car its Sanded back and stock with Hotwires and a new painted Grill but i wanted a shirt and a car spot lol

Just picked the Torana up from having a
little surgery done & it looks great. mmmmmm

Dont worry about rain, for rain, hail or shine Toranfest is on!!

We have also booked the Restored Rail sheds behind the ornamental ponds, for those of you who have attended before, you know behind where the guys run their radio controlled boats.

So cover is available if it turns nasty!!

But Mick McC guarantees me it wont rain!!!!

See you all there, I'll be the roving MC so be prepared to tell everybody about your car if I catch up with you! Rust holes and all!!!

Hi to all
This is just a thought, what do you guys & gals think
if we left Thornleigh Maccas @ 6.30AM instead of 7.00AM?. As
it would mean that we would travel with the NSW Torana Club,
thus meaning it would look AWSUM so many Torana's crossing
the Hawksbury bridge while Blown350 is taking a few beautiful
pics of our cars crossing it. Thats if Wayne doesn't mind doing
us that favour.

Just an update on Toranafest 2007 we have exceeded 100 cars on pre entry so day will be big.

For those that have entered you will not recieve any reply, will have to look into that for next year????, but if you want to pm me or sstorana we can confirm your entry for you.

sstorana gaurantees beautiful sunny day 24 degrees! So slip slop slap!

Dont forget your things for Harry Firth to sign and questions for Harry and Dave Maclean about Toranas.

Oh and bring your money for the Auctions as there is a host of desirable Torana bits up for auction, I love the Holden jacket and my size too 2xl!!!!

Hi Keith,

This will be the biggest toranafest ever and rightly so.

I have spoken to Mick McCardle and he would like cars on site by 8.30am which is why we (the NSW Torana Club) have decided to leave at 6.30am as it is a 2 hour drive to Newcastle.

Everyone is more than welcome to join us, the more the merrier. Should be a great day, counting down the sleeps.

Looking forward to it, just realised the old girl runs out of rego tomorrow which is a bit of a spanner in the financial works! But I'll be there even if I have to sell a kidney!

Hey guys

I nearly wish that I was travelling up the Freeway with you. I did a Torana convoy out to Bathurst one year with the STC and that was a blast!!!

Anyway, if I can just ask one thing, when you guys arrive can we get the "Club cars" through first? it will make parking and set up easier. Just be aware that with that many cars rocking up at the same time, there might be a bit of a traffic jam in getting through the entry point.

other than that, have a safe trip up, and enjoy the drive. I know that I would..

Pfffft! Yeah right!

Thinking I might do a leisurely cruise up the Old Road on Saturday morning and catch up with relatives on the coast on the way instead guys. As much as I'd love to be a part of the big run north on Sunday morning, the missus and I haven't had a weekend we haven't been working in months so it'd be nice to get out of Sydney and enjoy the car over a couple of days. If I'm not there Sunday morning don't wait for me, chances are I'm already in newy. Or I've busted my diff. Or I've slept in. Or all 3! :huh: :D

I was planning on joining the cruise up but am now going to stay overnight at my parents place at Bateau Bay, leaving Sunday morning for Newcastle.

Hopefully see you guys on the road.
