I wanted YOU to tell ME the answers...... lol

Looks like you have modified the rear calipers and mounted them to something. Hence why I was asking what you've done
I've been trying to figure out a way of getting the VT-> discs onto the back of an earlier live axle for ages.
Crewman backing plates won't fit !!
SO I figured you had nutted it out by the pics

I think the easiest way.......which is what I'm doing of course cause I'm lazy is.............

Shouldn't really tell yet (you'll have to watch my build or PM me)

hahahaha

No John, Im using CRS stub axils and the standard UC arms as per dattomans previous advice.

Dattoman, rear HSV calipers are just bolted on temporary using top bolt on standard Salisbury axle mount for photo, no adaptor plate as yet as I was going to hit you up for your opinion and advise again before proceeding.

So, will you release the info if I pm you, I still need to obtain front hubs and rotors from somewhere, I wont just take all your advise without contributing some form of remuneration for your livelihoods knowledge and experience. PM ??yes ??

regards

Hey HSV, that's looking good.

What have you used to paint your front subframe and control arms?

Very nice engine, just curious, how are you planning on getting air into it? Are you going to use a box to seal it to the bonnet (and use the scoop) or get it from the front of the car?

Yeah John, its a pity it cant run without the top.. Standard 215i GTS specs with hydraulic cam.
My sons been onto me about leavening it standard as we were going to put a couple of turbos on it, but now I got the HQ 350 project to think about and keep moving.

The air intake ducting and filter box all came with the Group A setup, so Im going to install it all and move the battery under the hatch floor at the back.

Thanks for your interest...............Regards
