G'day Alan

As per your call today, this is for a Melbourne Pass (Toll Roads)

http://www.citylink.com.au/1526.jsp

OR simply phone 13 26 29

Regards ..... Barry

Thanks for that Barry, Keith is doing the same, best to be safe rather than sorry and its only a few dollars which is well worth it for peace of mind ;)

See you all/most Wednesday morning at Yass.

I am still hopeful that someone can manage a laptop with dongle and XD card reader :)

Cheers
Herne

YASS ??? Holbrook mate and at 11 am

This is the same camera as mine

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Fuji-Fujifilm-Finepix-S1000-fd-7month-Mnfctr-Warranty_W0QQitemZ260495030019QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Digital_Cameras?hash=item3ca6b6b703

Great camera and easy to use as well as being able to be creative :spoton:

Not trying to talk you into getting one but when the time comes, it would be well worth a look.

Mine cost $325 with camera case and that model has come down a lot since I bought mine and of course there are the new ones.

Have a look at my Fuji sometime on the run :)

Regards .... Barry

Yeah sorry Barry a slight change in plan for some...

Gary and the boys will pull into the Macca's on the highway at or just outside Yass and do a drive through of the truck parking area towards the rear.. There if people are ready they can tag on to the moving cars and proceed to Holbrook.
This is not a stop per se, its merely a pickup point for any Sydney or Coota cars that may be there :) eg I am meeting Keith there to continue the journey with him.
I will have a good look at your camera en route mate, it may be soon time for me to upgrade once more, the trouble is the better the camera still doesn't make me a better photographer lol

Cheers
Al.

Hi Keith, great work there buddy I was thinking of doing the same thing (checking up on the forecast) now I don't have to - Yippee :)

Got my camp chair back tonight :) So its all systems go...Still no word on my crank polishing etc etc (they seem to be in no hurry for the money). Danny will keep it all going and have it sorted for me whilst I am away :) Not sure when he will rebuild though cos I have to buy a new Torque Convertor (matched to the cam etc) upon my return before the engine goes back in. The guys at the workshop are getting a price for me now.. They think the price will be around the $700.00 mark. (My old Torque Convertor was getting tired and was not large enough anyway)

Cheers
Al.

We managed to catch up with the travelers the past couple of days... joined them for a track day at Symmons Plains yesterday which I think there was 23 Torana's at was an awesome day... Then today went off touring around with them a bit before we all headed out for tea plenty more photo's to come when photobucket chooses to behave but here's one sampler from each day....

Hi guys, it's good to be back! But I would do it again...

Here are is preview of some of the shots I took whilst away.

Please note that these shots are all taken at the lowest possible resolution on my camera to allow me to take as many shots as possible on small SD cards.

The link to all photo's will be given as soon as I have edited the number plates out on the Tassie cars.

Enjoy.

Here is the link for all the Tassie photo's I took - sorry they got out of order when I edited and moved them around on photobucket.

A brief run report will probably be completed by this time tomorrow.

Enjoy. If you have questions please ask.
