Anyway, most people know by now, I'm in the Air Force. I'm an aircraft technician, but I am currently in an instructing role. Whilst I have spent most of my working career in the Air Force, I have done Airframe and enine work, carbon fibre and specialist repairs, metal repairs, hydraulics workshop, engine workshop and instructing. My job has allowed me to travel a bit, including my time over in the Middle East.
I also did a stint prior to joining up working for Ansett loading aircraft and for Avis detailing cars.

I then become an Apprentice Motor Mechanic (at age 38) and did that until 2005. I become a motor mechanic to learn how to work on cars for motorsport reasons.
I had a small break and then landed my current job. I am a Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) Instructor in an indoor heated pool facility. I work at a Navy base as a Civilian Contractor and my parent company is Care Flight Qld, but work in NSW. I also look after all the Safety Equipment that is used in the pool.

But the module I train with is huge...its about the size of a 14 seater bus shaped like a helicopter. We normally have 6 students and 3 instructors in the module at a time.
Here is the link to the company I work for... which shows the crab pot in use... the one in the link below is about the size of a car.

1st job - Run the Spare Parts Help Desk for one of our local car manufacturers.
When the bloke behind the counter at the local dealer can't work out which part number to order - he rings me.
Cool job , I love it.
2nd job - Owner/Operator/Transport driver/Dismantler/Salesman/Delivery boy for Micks Car Parts
3rd job - Racecar Engineer for VH Commodore run by Micks Car Parts
4th job - Driver of VH Commodore run by Micks Car Parts
The 3rd and 4th job have lousy pay, if I was better at the 2nd job, The 3rd job would have more $$$ and the 4th job would get better results.
