Hi guys
A top night.
Pass 1 - 13.32 @ 108mph
Pass 2 - 11.90 @ 113mph
Pass 3 - 11.82 @ 114mph
Pass 4 - 11.67 @ 115mph

I was in BIG trouble on the first run, the track was still greasy (as I found out), and I gave it everything off the line, got crossed up and had to get out of it to avoid hitting the wall :driving:

After that, it seemed to hook up and drive better with each run. I dropped the tyre pressures which didn't hurt. Loved it :spoton:

Missed out on a 5th run due to a flat battery, but I didn't care by that stage. Thanks for helping out Struggler and Keith.

Cheers
Harve

It wasn't a bad night. Good to catch up with Keith and to put a face to Harve.

Harve, that is a great looking car, and quite a performer for something that was driven 100 to 200Km to the track and back. Glad you had fun and was happy to assist !!!

Thanks heaps guys. How did your tyre frying go Struggler?

Here's a bit of footage, thanks to Ian Williams.

The long way down the strip (it felt worse than it looks too!):

It was a hoot !! I did break my battery hold down clamp though throwing it around. Didn't discover it until this morning and the resultant battery acid spill took some clean up !!!!

Keith , i was talking to Harve after his first run then later on with the battery issues, if that was your white SLR then i was the one that asked you to start it to jump start Harve's car (red holden jacket on) later talking to Ian. Struggler im not sure i met you , maybe next time. I should have introduced myself better although you were busy talking to Ian yourself.

I wish my car was VK671 :D

My burnout machine will be back on the pad soon. I'm gonna put it down the quarter and see what it does too.

I was going to come down and watch but I didn't think you guys would be going with the way the weather was looking.

Cheers
