Warrenm,
here is a pic of where im pulling vac from my thoughts behind putting it there was it might help pull the oil down from rocker cover we dont have that problem but just what i saw after checking a few v8's with them on that was what they were also trying to do. yeah i did put a baffle over the inside of the plate as it is above the crank scraper (i made a long one with cutouts for rod bolts) and is also above girdle but with the large clearances on bottom end i guess there is a large amount of oil splashing around.

My experience tells me the motor runs smoother and cooler ,less harmonics and no bore shift, have been told of a back to back test and no comparison[308]wats the advantage of filling it with grout

Is your rear seal neo or rope?
If it was me, I'd pull vacuum from the side plates to an efficient oil seperator and plumb the return from the seperator back to the fuel pump block off plate. But that's just my opinion.

they are the old breather hoses but i left the front one on as i use that to fill the engine with oil through a drum pump.

but i have since found the problem i think yesterday i fitted a fuel pressure gauge was reading fine about 2.5psi while idling but as i drove off down road the fuel pressure gradully went away so i hit it down test track and to my amasement there was no fuel pressure and sure enough would not rev much over 6,000 so back in shed fuel pump off couldnt see much wrong in there put back on then started up again and bumped pressure up to 3psi and tested well bugger me reves out to limiter now.
looks like dads taking the fed down i think next weekend for the helpers to have a drive of it i will prolly take the lc aswell to test it .
oh yeah at least the lc is still going and we did the best 60ft we have everdone in it 1.6 .
Cheers Hayden
