Again... Where can you get these???

Preferable a bolt-in solution. I'm not bad when it comes to wiring and stuff, so just a kit is what I'm after.

Location is MELBOURNE.

Cheers.

I've done it my hatch (using existing window regualtors) using mazda ('84) 626 motors grafted in place of the original winder. Not the most ideal setup (involves trimming metal to allow the motor to clear everything) but it's been working hassle free for over a year now. I think Herne has a better setup...

Yup, VN to VS Commodore motors and regulators fit in a treat. Just spend a bit of time fiddling to get the window level as it winds.
Ooops best say I did the front two only.... Dont carry passengers in the back.
Hatch regulators etc are same as 4 door :)

The VN - VS gear also works and fits the same in Hatch's as it does 4 door fronts. Only the glass is different. ie regulators are the same, we tested this too.

No worries Dattoman :) Sometimes the wreckers have the regulator and motor in stock from stuffed doors but they might want more than what I paid for mine. It honestly only took me about two weeks to find them, not bad I thought. They work a treat, many a torry owner has come up to me and asked me for a demo. In the new yr I am fitting a new B & M and the switches will be mounted in the back of that. Right now the switches just sit between the front seats on the floor.

I want to leave the handles in place
Hook them up so they can only move up or down 1/2" or so and set up some microswitches to he handle.
This way they still look like they use the winders but they are electric
And a switch "somewhere" to operate the passengers one

Sounds good and fair to me mate :) Please let me know how it all turns out when you get around to completing the job. I am extremely happy with my setup and to be fair it would not of happened if a good mate hadn't come up with the idea of using VN-VS regulators and motors. We pirced a ready made set available from GMH and I near choked at the price, in excess of $1400 and near the same to fit it.

I wasn't thinking they would get this much attention actually lol.
I am surprised no one else came up with the idea of using a similar GMH part before we did.
Glad to help though really as this is what this forum is all about, well that and making new friends.

Cheers
Herne
