Herne,

Maybe email the pics to Phil and see if he can resurrect the Technical section on the website. Might save you some time.

workinprogress. Your hotmail box seems to be bouncing email 2 of 3 and says your account is full or the email is too large. I have not had problems beforewith the email being too large with these pics attached?? Can you please check your mail box and let me know if I need to break down 2 of 3. Thanks....

Yella. yeah good idea, I will ask our webmaster if it's ok to send them to him for that very purpose.

Cheers
Herne

As far as I know the backs are a different setup! I cant say for sure as I have never taken the trims off to check out the mechanism. A mate tells me they are different so until I look I will take his word for it - now I am not sure if he means the Torana ones are different or whether the VN-VS ones are different in the back. :) Of course you can always take a peek at yours and it should be reasonably obvious if they fit or not. Should you want the files for the fronts just send me an email. One forum member suggested I zip the files up, dunno why I never thought of doing that myself but the last few I have sent out were zipped :)

Cheers

I want to leave the handles in place
Hook them up so they can only move up or down 1/2" or so and set up some microswitches to he handle.
This way they still look like they use the winders but they are electric
And a switch "somewhere" to operate the passengers one

Hey!

I've been thinking about electric windows in my torry for years now, and i was planning on trying to use the original winders as the switches. I want to keep my interia as stock as possible, while adding in a few mod cons. Nice to know i'm not the only one thinking about it.

Herne, i've also sent you an email asking for pics. Very interested. I love the electric windows in my Ford EB GT mockup daily driver.

I wonder how hard the VN electric motors would be to adapt into Hq-Wb front doors, i'm thinking about my panel van now too. :D

Cheers

I wouldnt go to that much effort for hq-wb's, just buy some statto reg's, you have to drill like 3 holes and they just work ;). I put a full set in my hq sedan, lots of fine tuning to get them going smooth and fast tho.

Modnizd, say they're so nice they don't need doing up *wink*

It was suggested that I consider uploading some tech articles onto the VTC Website, do you think I should do one on electric windows? ...with Herne's permission of course
