hi, it was a second hand job i swapped it for a banjo + $700. hunter powder and paint did all the powder coating on the front end & diff + swing arms - wish bones etc. Maitland K-mart tyre and auto fitted all the bushes with-out a scratch, and i assembled it all.

Top effort there mate, i'm really impressed with the standard of work you're doing Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image . I'll be watching this thread with interest. May i ask from one restorer to another your honest opinion of the lower skin sections as what you used on one of your doors? I have an LH sedan i'm considering using these to repair the two rear doors. Thanks Matt

hi mate is your motor 2 or 4 bolt mains as i have a vs senator 215 and not sure i think they are 2 bolt but never had the sump of, mines got a bigger hyd cam rollers starr performance manifold, 6 speed and stock 346 diff gears and she gets up and boogys for a heavy old senator she makes 225rwkw, i reckon a 4 barrel efi tb would be better, but its your car in the end keep up the work and updates cheers

Fantastic job so far m8 !! The only recommendation i would add is stay away from a 4 speed with that diff ratio. Each to their own but the way i see it why rev the crapper outta ya engine cruisin the hwy if ya dont have to? Even a 5 speed would do. Perhaps one outta VT V8 or somthin. If you had an original SLR or SS n u wanted to keep it that way yeah throw a 4 speed in but seriously dude throw a in an extra cog. Your engine will appreciate it n so will your wallet at the servo. ^ The ratio I read is 3.5:1, that will be fine with a 4 speed manual...?

hi, fitted one of those wilson rear spoiler's the other day. appear's to line up pretty good, i
had to sand a little here and there but all in all pretty happy.i think it will come up even better
once it's all prepped up. i had to oval shape the holes to line it up the best i could, due to it
being very hard to drill a hole spot on in the right possy. oh yeah finish left quarter panel too.lol.

Clearly I have a lot to learn and will bookmark your thread whilst watching and learning.
Thanks for sharing your efforts.
