Congratulations Steve, I reckon you're bought well.

Nice clean car, just drive it and enjoy it - thats the way to do it.

Cheers Mick.

Didn't know it was a one owner car, that's pretty uncommon nowadays. Definitely makes things easy starting with something very good. What are your plans? Gonna run LPG? Put a manual in it?

Shouldn't take much to get it looking really great

some plans are a gas system as the motor had an lpg head fitted when rebuilt
get the paint touched up
full alarm system
sound system

and maybe a flare kit what are your opinions??

I wouldn't do the flare kit, I think they look really bad with the lines of a UC, and it doesn't have a V8, but that's just me :P

Make sure you go somewhere nice for the LPG system, go straight gas, get the filler behind the number plate, remove the petrol tank and lines, carbon canister etc.

Decide that first
After you sell some crap to pay for things
Like flares, wheels, tyres, paint etc

And... do you ever actually listen to peoples suggestions ?
Most say no flares after you ask for opinions.. you say flares.... hmmmm

Ohh god I was trying to be nice before, please don't flare it, you will epically f*ck the car in the arse putting flares on it. It would completely ruin it, period.

EDIT: Don't take that as a personal insult, but it's true. Leave flares for V8 LH/LXs and racecars.

Hi

Nice sunbird you have there dont pull it apart too much.
Im not a fan of flares on UCs but i guess its your car so you can do what you want.
Its up to you on the LPG. If your using a light foot and fit a celica, supra 5 speed fuel use would not be that high.
