lowest legal height so it still clears speed bumps??

Thanks Hawk. Just curious and I'm not ready yet.

I don't think I could start with a fixer upper. Way out of my league.

Yeah... good luck with that

Exhaust will be an issue, but just do it anyway. Don't make it obscenely low, you'd be best to upsize the wheels a bit, with a slightly lower profile tyre, then lower it.

Ok heres my UC on king superlows, sitting on 13" rims. Any lower and you'll definitely have bits under 100mm.

Buddy even at that height it DOESNT clear most speed bumps (especially knox)

Hope it gives u an idea
cheers, brad.

In fact i would try and source an original 4cyl engine and put it away. Wait 10-20yrs, put the 4 cyl in it and sell it as an original unmolested car.

hey i just brought home a sunbird tonight with an origional 4cyl. i'll let you have it! then i can put a 308 in mine and maybe people wouldnt mind if i flared it?

Kyle, hawk's car isn't original and unmolested anymore... And if you want flares on a UC, go nuts, but just be prepared to own a car that about 90% of the population think looks a bit shit...

LOL

Taken a few metres away from where Brad's photo was taken

That's on 13"s as well, that's Commie IRS springs in the arse end and choppies in the front, you wouldn't go much lower than that really, it already scrapes a lot with the big exhaust collector on the extractors. If you put 15"s or 16"s on you could start tucking some tyre properly and shit, but the car itself can't really be much lower.

It wont make it go any faster and it wont make it look any better - I personally think it will make it look horrible. BUT it is your car.

Do you have photoshop mate? If you want me to mock something up when you get some ideas, just say so, so you can start visualising things :)

First pic is terrible dude, I'll have a play with that second one tomorrow, unless you can get a better photo again (something with no highlight saturation, no shadows, clear colour etc - what you would get on an overcast day) :)

mate its ur car to do with what you like so wether you where joking about the flares or not if you want them have them. everyone has there own opinion about what looks good but i think they look good with flares. as for gas its great and realy cheep in the citys but just watch out if you go too far from the city it can be over a dollar a liter and thats if the servos actualy have any gas,

Nice UC

If you have to have the flares, the most important thing is too get the wheels too match. At least 10" wide rears with 265's and 8" wide on the front with 245's. (This is the reason for flaring.. wide wheels) If you cant get the wheels its just going to look gay. No wing....ever (useless excess weight). and get a Front spoiler to blend the front into the flares.
