Fitting the extractors today I noticed a pile of red nolathene on the front near the front of the car...I thought Shit! I have rats!...but looking closer it was obvious that rodents couldnt get into the nolathne rubbers...then on looking closer...it was more obvious..the nolathene was just sitting there breaking up in the LCA and falling out...look at the second pic at where the bolt is now sitting ...at the top..not in the centre as it is supposed to be.
I will replace it but just thought I would throw it up here...heard of it but never seen it before....it is just sitting there decompossing onto the floor...weird.

Bad move, seems that it isnt just a Nolethane problem. Exact same thing happened to my LH, i had the blue bushes and they just turned to dust.

They came in the car..looked pretty new..it has sat without the motor for 7 months..appears soon as the motor/weight went back on they collapsed..
Having said that..I ran them in Yellow and HDT N0.1 without drama.

Just took crap like that out off the fraud's front upper control arms...had turned to something resembling crumbly dried cheese.

Whilst it was rather old, I still put rubber back in.

I ran dark Orange neopheme lower bushes in mine 18 year of hard use and no issues at all, these bushes are as hard as anything, I used softer version of same thing (grey) on lower arms on rear end over the same time I install new rubber top control arm which i replaced with neoathane twice before I sold it so three sets of upper bushes in 120,000 and one set of lower which were still going strong, Shocks Koni ajustable rebuilt twice and in need of another rebuild when I sold it

This is not the result of a SUS BATCH ,its a problem across the brands of all colours and has been like this for at least the last 8 years, my XY GT REp had same thing happen last year, none in stock so parts guy ordered them in from Nolathane as he told me he stopped stockig them after several customers wanted to kill someone after all its not just the cost thats wasted,Its the expensive cost that the mechanics have charged to install ,that none of the suppliers have to wear, my parts guy told me i was wasting my money but ordered them for me as i had them years ago and loved them, and i insisted so he gave in.
Guess what?
He was right. Crumbled after install just moving car around the front yard. my Grand daughter kept telling me about this nice red rubbish stuff under my car ,lol.
out of the mouth of baby .
this crap should be taken off the shelves Australia wide. no recalls for sus batche's (funny that) The world is full of rip off artists but companies that keep selling rubbish should be liable to complete replacement costs. but as this is Australia, with garbage protection laws it just wont happen.

geeze thats very dodgy...hopefully just a bad batch... but what happens if someone gets some dodgy bushes and it leads to an accident/serious injury/death...due to the faulty product...whos to blame then?

You if you know its faulty and still drive the car

A couple of years ago Nolathane and Noltec were both absorbed by Whiteline

This was just before these crook bushes were made I'm guessing
They may well have improved... but I've not dealt with them much and have been supplying Mackay stuff recently myself
