Hi guys,

So its been a while, about 3 years... I bought a house and ran out of money so now selling the VY Berlina to fund this again! Here is the old thread but thought I would start a fresh one for build v3.0.

With the Blue 3.3L

Then the Red 202:

Engine: Holden Straight 6 202
Triple SU Carbies 1.75
0.60 Thou
Flat Tops
Stage 2 Cam
Ported and Polished
Rolla Rockers
Yerra Tella Valves

When I was on here last, the car was at this stage.

The plan was to put a 304 in it and T700. The T700 is a very tight fit. I am now thinking about a RB25DET with a 5 speed. Still going the B/W Diff (VL Turbo with Disks) and the Commodore brakes up front.

The interior.... now that its green. The re-trim I had done of all the seats dont match. I also bought a Monaro Blue leather back seat that also wont match. So now I need ideas on the interior colour. Black and something makes sence because half of it is already black, but come so far now I dont mind selling all that off and starting a fresh with maybe Cream? or even white... I need to make a decition because I want to get the windows back in it and that involves the headliner in the car.

So Im back into it. Cant wait to drive her again.

Cheers. :)

Nice to have you back. Bit of black & blue in the interior goes well with green :stirpot: I've got it in my car! lol

Go the RB & 5spd, way more exciting than anything with a slushbox

Would love to see this with injected 304,th700 is a little tight but can fit it in,how about using t5 or even th350?

I'd prefer cream colour interior over white, can't go wrong with a black interior in a torrie though lol.

I agree. Go with the 5litre and use a manual gearbox. Probably not as powerful as an RB turbo, but would sound a lot better : )

Yeah Kev im back! haha

Well I havent totally given up on the 304. I am just trying to keep the costs down, and the RB25DET will be a bit cheaper to get into the car and also regoed with it.

I am like the all black interier then maybe brake it up a little with some green hilights, simple but just to add another colour in there.

Yay getting into it again, hah uno both our cars will probly get finished at the same time.

Hmm I went full tan interior in my Gemi, I think it could suit yours, would give it a very show car/classy look.

Black with dark blue or dark green features would work too and would be more of a old skool tough look

Id stay away from white if your planning to drive it a fair bit, unless you like cleaning alot and it would have to be leather or good quality marine vinyl, velour or suede would be impossible to keep clean

Id go the RB25 Route for the LC too, less hassles with rego and easy power, But then again you wont have the sound and feel of a V8 (which is why i got 2 cars, A turbo and a V8 cos I couldnt decide what I wanted)

Look forward to seeing some progress mate.

This could be fuuuuuuuun...
Just wondering, did you have any other 5L conversion gear left over?

Yeah good to see something different :).

I have been behind studrichos UC RB25T (Stock setup) at 3am in the morning with the nice cold air and he put 100 meters on me before I was in third gear :).

Also the LC is 200kgs lighter probably :)

Youngy

It's called an accelerator peddle and just to the right of your brake pedal. You should use sometimes. It clears out any carbon build up.

How's the LC coming along?

What did the Nissan cost?
Was it a reposessed auction? or stolen and revovered?

studricho sent me some good detail. :)

Car came from Salvage Auctions. Had a good look at it last night. Its come off the road and hit a barbwire fence and a Tree sideways. There is dirt everywhere under the car. Got it home for about $3000. Seeing a front cut was $2500 think I did alright.

Going to try and get it running tonight. The guy cut out all the good stuff straight through the looms, boost controler, turbo timer and unbolted blow off valve.
