Hey Jonesey i must have been under a rock tonights the first time i have seen this thread :nada:

Love where it is headed that engine looks/sounds the goods .Another white and black hatch in W.A. good to see.

Good luck with the bonnet search i had a schmick spare bonnet which i gave away with my SLR5000 to another forum member :banghead: because i didn't know if i would want it :banghead:

You just need to keep checking the "Quokka" Gumtree and Evil bay one will definately turn up.

Have you got a wheel tyre combo picked out yet?

jeeeessss, its been a while just flicking through the old thread and its amazing how time gets away from you last post 2012.... few things have changed (the old dog in photo has moved on now and we have moved house too) pity not too much with the old torry besides a bit more dust, it in a bigger shed and a little bit of panel work. so i thought i would throw a little update action down.

we (my mate mick the panel man and myself) have started the rad support as there was nothing there we we started the car is a little step closer than before but not by much.

here is what was left of the rad support

didnt like the way the support fitted up under the nose cone so we made a few folds tucks and mods -no water will get in now and i know its not like factory but its all hidden behind the nose cone and i think it come up nice
