Lee, the covers i saw at SEMA on a chevy nova running an ls1. They are a brand new product from Holley that are big block style covers. I havent seen them anywhere in Australia, and i actually bought these from So-Cal Speedshop in Vegas and brought them back in my luggage haha.

Only issue is, there is a bit of modification i need to do to make them fit, especially around the booster. I have an idea of what ill do if i decide not to use them,
But ill keep you posted!

These are what they look like:

Skap - iv thought of it many times, but the cost to get it there would have been way too much. One day maybe though.

With this much money spent on the torana it would be in the 11s already....

$45 a set! Thats for LS1 though, never looked at the VE ones. But it includes overflow, power steering and oil cap. Pretty cheap!

Soo iv put over a 1000kms on the new box and stall and the 4000 stall was an awesome choice. is more well behaved in wet and dry and so much nicer to drive, even in heavy traffic. Dont believe what people say about high stalls in daily drivers, they are awesome.

In other news I am painting up the old manifold to sell and make some money :)

Nice mods!!! Keen to do diff gears on my ute soon..what was the quote?

After popping the auto twice in my 5l vt even with craig's rebuild was reluctant to go auto again so bought m6 vy ss...though auto would have pulled better times at the track & made for easier daily driver.

Ls1's are just too easy to toy around with in comparison to old torries lol.

Those covers look do good.
