Stock size would be 185/70 in my opinion. 205's are too wide for a 5.5 inch rim in my opinion. Looks like a pregnant wombat.

Im thinking perhaps 175's?????

I have 175's on one of my cars with SLR caps and another I have 185's with standard hubcaps and dress rims. Go the 185's! Much nicer fit on the 5.5inch rim.
My 2 cents worth....
The rims you have got pictured will do the trick. Sandblast and kbs paint.

Yeah I was thinking 175 is probably good for ice road rally driving? I try and hunt down some 185's or 195s. I was going to sandblast and 2 pac.

That must be for the LH. My LX book says an SL/R 5000 had BR70H13 as standard. The metric sizing for a 175R13 is a 185/75R13.

If you want to fit LH SLR hubcaps, the valve must line up with a wheel stud hole on the rim.

Yeah mate. Your right, I think I was either drunk or high on fumes when I did that?

S= Standard fitment on LH SLR with 308 is BR70H13 as you mentioned. Im not sure how available 185's are these days. So I may go with a 195.

Like this one?

yep.

An SLR hubcap won't easily fit on the black rim on the left without surgery.
I found this out about 35 years ago.

Calling around the local tyre mobs for 13in tyre prices. Got this so far...

185/70r13 Achilles $90.00 fitted
185/70r13 Maxxis MA-P1 $110.00 fitted
I can also get a tyre in that size called a Marshall for $170.00. This tyre has the old white wall if you were thinking of going that way.

I think they use the same nut as the HQ GTS wheels, but don't quote me.

If Rares do not have them try US Pontiac suppliers like Year One. Be careful as Pontiac had both Black centred and Red centered nuts.

Hmmm righteo. Thatnks for that link. So would it be safe to assume these have the same thread type?

What thread type is LH Torana SLR 5000?

Good if I can find some local in Australia.
