Hi all just received some great news Ned and Bruce Nowacki have just informed me that they wish to launch their NEW BOOK at this years Toranafest.

The book at the moment has the working title of " Bush to Bathurst" and focuses on Bruces life from a small Victorian Country town to the great days at Bathurst through the Golden era of motor racing in this country as mechanics for the HDT

The boys have great stories to tell so it should be a great read.

I believe that Bev Brock will be writing a forward in the book and Bev will be also at Toranafest.

I will give more details as they come to hand

pre entries ar now just short of 180..

Hi all just letting you all know we have 208 cars pre entered so far. please remember that the Pre entries cut off at 250. Anyone after that will have to enter on the day!

-3 last night here so can't wait till September 13 when I'm heading north to warmer weather :driving:

Even in September we can get a frost here in Cootamundra

Being doing some researching & preparation for something (historical) special for the display

It is some thing that May Have Done Time back in the 70's :tease:

Just posted via snail mail entry form and monies, hope I'm not to late any way can't wait,love road trip adventures in the Torry.
The road trip to Bathurst last year was amazing,pulling up for fuel or food you would get people coming over and WOW over the
little Toranas. I will be travelling down with the QLD GTR & XU-1 club. See you all soon.

Hi all just a quick update, entries now stand at 233!!!!! With a couple of days entrants to add.

We are expecting well over 100 Toranas on the Saturday Cruise!!

T shirts finalised and ordered. Sponsorships closed ( we will still take auction items).

And Barry is getting excited!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All

Just a timely reminder that there is only 7 more days to Pre-enter!

After that time, you will be classed as "Enter on the day" regardless of when you enter and if you are with a Club, chances are you will not be parked with them unless you "Pre-enter"..

At just over 260 entrants so far (that is up a massive 100 from this time last year!) there is only 40 goodie bags left!!

So if you want to be a "Pre-entrant" best you do it now!!

You snooze, You lose!!

^ Agree, you're not locked into it, just turn up at the motel at kick off.

Of course the Sunday is like any other car show where they expect you to get there early and attend at least a few hours.

Sweet I missed out last year for my sons pres and again this year so ill get in the car early sat morning and head up for the 2.5 hour drive at 60mph 3000rpm lol. What time does the cruise kick off??

Hi all Just a reminder that pre paid entries Close on the 23rd of August. This is so we can finalise T shirts, goody bags etc etc. Will will be only accepting enter on the day after this date,so if you havn't entered you need to do so ASAP.

Numbetrs are well and truley up on last year at the same time. I will post numbers after the 23rd of August.

The Saturday Cruise is open to all Torana owners so Nathan you are more than welcome. I will post some more info regarding the cruise over the next week or so.

Toranafest Update:

As at the 23rd Aug, we have 272 Entrants! That is an new record and we are still 3 weeks away! 300 plus cars is definitely on the cards this year!

Pre-entries have now closed! We will still accept Entry forms but they are classed as "Enter on the Day"

I pre-entered awhile back, changed entered car details & now it looks like neither of my two LHs will make it. The car that is complete going etc runs out of rego on September 12 ( can't find anyone to give it a pink slip) & the car that has plenty of rego won't be complete & together by then. I might still turn up for my goodie bag though.
