I'd be pulling the crank to check for other damage, that looks like it copped a fair whacking.

I dont know if your flywheel will seat properly on such a munted surface? was there anything special about the crank? or just a standard job?

might be worth relpacing just to be sure.


basically as per orangelj, you could try machine the flywheel true but good luck getting it to mate on that crank with no run out. ive thrown out flywheels and crank's no where near as bad as that.

time to chuck a 202 and tramatic in it mate and you will never have a problem :sofa:


nah not good news at all Ryan, something so small can put you off the road, check it out good mate. hope all turns out for the best.

Don't think ARP do a bolt to suit, While the end of the crank does look pretty bad i think u will get away with it. But since u have it out an ecotec crank can be had for peanuts. Balance, test n polish isn't too expensive either

What about checking the run out by using a dial gauge similar to this
