E.G. alt and starter,
Can help with manifolds but no engine pipes,
Elect dissy, no coil or cap or leads.
Have either a varajet or if you have the time adapt a ww2?
No fuel pump.
Would need sump and pick-up.

The "Still have to rewire the engine bay before it goes in" bit has turned into a virtual rewire. I dont know what the poms were thinking when they put these together. The motor is still sitting on the floor The "6 week" Commodore build for Winton is looking more like 4 weeks

I SOOO wanna be driving the Torrie... any Torrie
The Vienta is quick, but auto simply isn't fun when you try and let it shift up at four and a half grand and it just keeps revving

The only oppurtunity I've had racing on a track is the DECA handling track in September when I did about 20 laps in an XD ESP, hehe that was fun, but a little lazy even when being given a hard time.

The wiring is 97.63% done. The 74' Rangie came with 3 fuses and 1 (starter) relay from the factory. Mine now has 5 main fuses, 10 accessory fuses and 5 relays. Still have to mod. exhaust, modify acc. cable and pedal, fit carby and dissy, hook up oil cooler and engine breathers, reassemble dash. Also fit radiator and thermo fan. If I run out of time the standard fan might be going on in the mean time. Hoping to test drive Sat. night down to the servo to pick up a tandem and off to Mathoura Sun.

Got GranTurismo4 for Father's Day....what a disappointment, way too real, and not enough fun. Will stick to V8 Supercars, although hopefully Supercars 3 will go Platinum soon!!!
I'll return you to Winton. What day is it? Mmm, wonder if Yella feels like a little 3.5 hour drive?

FAILED! The "modify the exhaust" to suit extractors has turned into a front to back fabrication (depression is setting in ) but it will be worth it in the long run for the old girl.Rangie progress report: The engine is in! But not running

Bargain huh? Not as bad as it looks, just needs a light rub and a sqiurt. I wish the car was here to start fitting some of the crap I've bought for it.
(This is starting to sound like Choppers drag car thread )

Take the feed wire (not the B+ but the D+) off teh alternator and tell me whether the rangie will stop then...
Asking too much as the uni joints are different from teh BW to teh v8 rear. only hop you have is use the front half off a vk and teh rear half off a v8 tailshaft. either that or place the vk tailshaft in with teh vk diff yoke. all in all, good luck.

I thought what your thinking and have rewired the Alt light wire through a relay from the battery so that when I turn the Ign off (which triggers this relay) the batt+ stops feeding the lamp and therefore the Alt. But bugger me I can't start the bitch to see if it turns off . Hi-tech prob now - out of fuel.Rodomo,

With the tailshaft I have been doing some research (with Holden wreckers who generally know what fits what) but have had conflicting results. From what I can gather the V8 sailsbury and the 6 cly sailsbury flange wont interchange as the 308 sailsbury has a bigger pinion. VK apparently have flat flange. I have a V8 complete shaft here and the rear 1/2 of a 6 shaft and without pulling them apart it looks like the V8 c/v flange is bigger than the 6. Answer might be aussie which has better 2nd & 3rd ratios than 5 speed and should be able to find a t/shaft to bolt up
