12 port came out for Commodores
All reds are 9 I think
Most YT heads are just old castings... not new fresh stuff

Datto is correct.
THere was never a red motor with a 12 port.
There are a few butchered bastardized 9 ports with port dividers, but was never factory.
YT had various stages, Stage 2 which looks similar to what you have there, Stage 3 which was the inlet divider removed and a steel pipe pressed in instead, these were both factory GMH castings.
Afaik YT never supplied heads with the inlet divider totally removed and the bolt in the bottom of the port. Keep in mind YT isnt the only company to ever have a play with these.
YT did cast several heads, in both cast iron and aluminium, but these are easy to pick from an origional one, what you have there sir is not one.
If your going to toss it, i will pay freight and chip in $100 for packaging and your time if you feel like sending it to me.
Personally if i was you i would sell it....
Cheers.

TMK A291 is the date code and 2815843 is the product code for a XU-1 head. Which year im not sure, not that into them.
THe fact that the valves are obviously oversized but the ports look relatively untouched somewhat confirms this.
I would be removing the rocker cover and having a good look if i were you, then cleaning it up and putting it on ebay/gumtree/whatever.
Or post it to me and i will do it
Cheers.
