Clearly fuel was leaking out by the looks so the stains
I have similar stains/runs on my fresh 202. I also thought it was fuel, I lowered the float level in the SU's with no difference. It turns out... after a bit of thinking, the valve guides are rooted, and oil is leaking into the ports, and downstream into the manifold... even with a new manifold gasket... eventually leaking out onto the new painted block!
