All coming together Paul,

A1 works of ART as usual :)

So wiring under the dash is done
Door trims back on
All wiring is done a shit even works so happy days

Grille and hl surrounds back on. I wanted to get them refirbed but brought new bumpers instead

CC0F688A-5E51-4F25-A196-F995FB8012B7_zps

Didn't have the bracket or switch for the hand brake so welded a couple of m3 bolts to the hb and fitted a limit switch I had laying around so the brake light now works in the dash

44397B2E-2C84-43D7-A272-FAEBA18744A9_zps

Gave it a squirt of paint while it was out

B6CFDED2-EDA6-40F3-89B0-8F86851E0330_zps

Made a couple of hinge pin removers on the weekend ready for when I start the Gtr

Sold most of my model cars years ago but still kept the torries and Walky.
I reckon it's a close colour match

Took them out of the cupboard and put the in a display thingo in the shed now

Probably will be broken in a week cos something things get thrown around in there lol

Been slack lately and haven't done much to it

Fitted the new bumpers

CE8E2708-DF25-48E8-BBCE-50189E38C0CB_zps

The missis came out to see the new bumpers and said
Can you do something with the door trims?
So yep. You guessed it. Ordered new ones. Just waiting on them to arrive.

Fitted the new underlay and carpet

(The white dots in the pic is from the reflective shit on my work shirts. You don't see it until a pic with a flash is taken)

So then I thought everything else is either new or rebuilt/refurbished so I pulled the head light surrounds and grille off to get them done.
Should have them back Friday or Monday.

I wasn't a fan of the linkage set up for the carby so pulled that off and binned it. Got a pedal and cable from the wreckers. The Spring is part of the cable. So modified the pedal and made a bracket to hold the carby end in place. Works a treat and light and smooth like a late model car now.

It's painted now but forgot to take a pic

So seeing as I'm waiting for parts I thought I'd make an air cleaner nut for the hatch as its only ever had a plain wing nut.
Couldn't find anything I liked so thought I'd give this a go

Grabbed a bit of aluminium stock on the way home from work today

2DF565D6-29C0-4B20-A67C-1ADCA5FB7361_zps

Dropped in at the engine builders
and got a recess machines in the end with his mill and got him to knurl it as I haven't done it for 20 plus years.

Recess is for this SS emblem

Shot over to the old mans to use his lathe and turned it up and thread it

EF4CF71E-B2CE-43E1-930E-5A120D006C47_zps

Just need to polish it up tomorrow night and glue the badge in and done

I'm just doing the math.

Let's see ..... add that ...... add that ...... subtract that ....... carry the 1.

So you have 3 Toranas & Skap has 0.

Did i add up right?  :dontknow:
