Hey guys is there such a thing as dragway tims with com stud pattern !???

Yes you used to be able to get Dragways for early commodores
Troys right they are 15 inch commodore steel rims
Could be HQ or Commo stud pattern

Ok sweet! Yeah I don't think the guy who changed the diff to a 9 inch would put commodore stud pattern on.. It just dosnt make sense. Also I messaged to people on eBay about of there dragway a would fit and here's what one said.

The wrong stud pattern is still the wrong pattern though.. it is a small difference, but it is still not correct.  The lug nut seat really should have even contact all the way around in my opinion really, and if the nut is not centered in the tapered seat area, it will not have even contact all the way around.

Sure plenty of people do it, but still...

NO NO and double NO, that is very bad advice and whoever "GMH_350" is should be strung up by the balls for saying it, HQ and Commodore PCDs are not the same and certainly not interchangeable by "boring out each stud hole"

The wheels locate on the taper of the nuts, not on the studs. I guarantee at the very least you will have a bad vibration, then flog out the wheel holes in no time at all, that's if you don't snap the studs off just doing up the nuts, and if a wheel came off at speed and hit something you could almost certainly kiss any insurance goodbye once they examined what you'd done.

Absolutely.

I would report old mate to ebay for giving highly dangerous advice like that, you could kill someone.

This thread sucks.

1. Above advice on HQ vs commo stud pattern must be followed.
2. It appears you car has commodore rims on HQ stud pattern. Check before you kill someone.
3. Why are you missing wheel nuts on your UC? Check before you kill someone.
4. You could easily have looked closely at the GM pressing on the rim and measured your PCD saving about 100 posts
5. Bombers comment about you chaser rim wanker mate is spot on.

I agree Daz it's not rocket science... Measure from outside edge of any stud to centre of third stud, Missing the 2nd stud = Correct method of measuring 5 stud P.C.D. It's as simple as that & then get the correct rims to suit your stud pattern......

Method of calculating five stud PCD.

Measure from the inside of one stud (or hole) to the outside of the next.

It's the inches measurement, the middle is the metric measurement and the right is the PCD measurement

Best freight courier for this kinda thing, probably wont be to bad.

Your logic is correct, If you currently have commy rims then yeah, they should fit. If they dont, well you have a set of dragways to sell and you konw its not commy pattern?

Cheers.

looking at that last photo you posted the pattern maybe commodore because of the center bore ( strange if the wheel studs are 7/16 )

can you post a picture of the front rotor ?
