Now that we have established the casting side of things ie. the actors, what cars will be starring in the film? Will Bowdens cars be used or just use actual race footage ?

This the HR he drove in a Touring Car Round at Winton in 1969 and came 3rd with what i think was basically an off the showroom HR Prem. from Watsons of Greensborough, a local Holden Dealer near whre Brocky grew up. Promos for the show aired earlier this year so you would think that it is "in the can" as they say. I'm going to watch it for Nat Bass alone, she's hot as. They should have cast John Howard (ex PM) as Allan Moffat, those guys look like twins (He He)

From Adelaide news:
Channel 7, Network Ten unable to agree on footage for Peter Brock telemovie
THE brakes could be slammed on a Peter Brock telemovie due to air later this year, as rival TV networks fight over footage of the Bathurst 1000.
Network Ten is believed to have failed to strike a deal with Channel 7 for its exclusive race vision, leaving production company Endemol Shine scrounging for footage of the King of the Mountain.
Ten has promoted the two-part telemovie, starring Offspring’s Matt Le Nevez, as the unmissable “untold story of the man behind the legend”.
A source told the Herald Sun that Endemol Shine had approached Brock’s family and the ABC for footage of the racing legend in the past week.
The source said the telemovie had been clipped together and presented to Network 10 before it was realised that the race footage could not be used.
Seven televised the Bathurst 1000 exclusively from the mid-1960s to the late-1990s.
Brock won the race a record nine times.
“The biggest issue is that production had been completed but that footage has now been taken off them,” the source said.
“It starts the process again.
“It is no different to if you were doing a series on an AFL footballer and they took away all the grand final footage.
“Bathurst was the biggest stage.”
The source added: “People are saying it could be a ploy by Seven to actually buy the series for a reduced price.”
Producers have used online tribute pages to beg Brock enthusiasts for help.
“We want to tell a complete story and we need your help,” the post said.
“If you have any amateur Bathurst, Sandown and/or other great Aussie car racing footage from 1969 through to 1996, we need to hear from you.”
Network Ten refused to comment.
