Thats life unfortunately, It is unfair at times.
I will be ordering my next models through a model shop next time to hopefully assure me of getting what I want at the uninflated price.

biante should only sell 1 per person and same also for the hobbie shops etc. that way everybody gets one each.

I managed to get 1 at a model shop.Certainly pays to ring around. Almost missed out.
Guy at the shop said there were 11000 released, and it has now broken all Biante sales records.
Put in my order for the Bob Morris A9X while I was there just to be sure.

went into hobbie shop today, they said they are getting in only 90 A9X,s all are sold and im one of the first that they will ring. cant wait. if any body wants the morris car put your orders in now at a hobbie shop. im early on the list for the morris car so ill know im not missing out. still heaps of spots left on the list they said.

wow didnt realise it was so hard for some of us.brian , my local collectable car guru in stones corner brisbane has a book with everyone who wants stuff names in it and does his preorder that way.when a new model comes out he rings you up you stop in on the way home and whammo ...new toys.if anybody is interested im sure he would appreciate the business.he used to sell toranas new and has a wealth of knowledge on motorsport and is genuinely a great guy to spin a yarn with.

Prolly the slackest I been so far in getting a new release, but the Gods must be smiling, they cancelled all the people's multiple orders, so I got a call this morning to come pick the baby up. All resting fine at home now, thanks to doctors, nurses.....ooops sorry, I digress.

By the sounds of thing was a blessing in disguise not getting onto the website. I can still remember the angst in buying the '78 car.
With the four cars together (Brock 74/5??, Harvey 76, Brock 78 & Brock 79) is interesting to see the progression of the signage gradually covering more and more of the car. The Brock 78 looks poor in quality compared to the Brock 79 model (chrome trims to grille, SS badge placement, etc).

recieved mine today from bill at stones corner ,brisbane and got an added run down of the good old days. he was sales manager for leech motors holden and reckons the first L34 that was delivered there got driven off the truck and the apprentices were ordered to strip the engine down because the engine sounded crook.all rattly and idling rough.two days later they recieve the paper work explaining what an L34 is. rebuild it boys. had another tale of a yellow a9x that was relieved of its suspension when a certain mr gore mounted the sidewalk side ways at pace.thing wasnt sold yet,ouch.this occured on the gold coast.

Well as luck would have it due to me not wanting to do the Biante website ordering system 
I made sure I left my name at several places incase some1 was stupid enough to not pick their's up... looks like ive scored a couple of extra's Any1 still looking for 1???

Picked mine up yesterday. It really does pay to have a good contact in a hobby shop. Unfortunately there is no room left in my cabinet to display it. Model number 41 will have to accompany my spare 78 along with others in the cupboard.
