There seems to be an increase in popularity of four door LC and LJ's. I guess people are getting priced out of the market for two doors now. Are only v8's allowed by the looks of the pictures, us 202 torana owners would probably get booed out of town.

I think they're just as popular 'relative to 2 doors' as always. I recall many were given the GTR look back in the day.

True, they don't fetch as much but were always more convenient for those wanting a Torana and have a family or regularly go out with their mates in the back seat.

 

It's good to see from the selected photos they're not 4D mock GTR's and celebrating them for what they are.

Nah its just because everyone knows if you want real hp you have to go V8.

 

Horsepower is horsepower, the easy way out is to go V8, not that there's anything wrong with that, I own two V8's and will openly admit I'm too lazy to go into extracting horsepower from small engines, it's not for me, just drop in a V8 and away I go.

 

I commend anyone that does though, 6 cyls, RB25T's, etc. good on ya!
