2 weeks to go so who is meeting Mick(lows2) & i at Macca's/ Thornleigh at
7:00AM for a cruise up the coast to the Toranafest?????????????????

We would like everybody to be at Macca's/Thornleigh
at 6:30am as we would like to leave no later than 6:50AM

That's a great idea keith!

We've gotto meet at thornleigh at 6:30 am for a 6:50 departure.. SHARP.

I would like to see us cruise in a line at the speed limit with our headlights on as a mark of respect to the king who died yesterday.

Personally i'm going to put RIP on the back window of the ford for the journey as a mark of respect.

So Cmon guys.. Let's make this a good turnout to show our respect for a grear racer and fellow Torana Lover.

I will TRY and meet you on the freeway if i can get this gearbox in this week. I know i have been saying that for ages but time is not something i have much of at the moment.

Not sure if I can have the banana ready in time,
but as I only live a short way from Macas at Thornleigh,
I would love to, at the very least, pop up on the Sunday
to meet you all!!!

Sunday is already booked for me unfortunately.

Definately see you all at Macas on Sunday 17th, 6:30am. :D

Bad news it looks like the LJ will need a life saving heart transplant, so at this stage it will not be making the trek up the Freeway this year, but i will still be cruising up with you guys.

At first i thought it to be an oil problem but now i thinking just petrol tank leak and cause of all the rain in Sydney i havent been able to have a look even under the car, so its at my mechanics today to get a full once over, so MAYBE might be able to drive up to Toranafest i will know more this arvo.

Old age has caught up with her atm :D , but yeah i work in that building that looks like its about to be demolished across from where i was parked. Have to park on the street cause all the dust from building destroys my supreme car washing skills :tease: plus if it rasins and her nose is pointing up she will be flooded :spoton:

GOOD NEWS!!!!!

I will be driving the LJ up to Toranafest on Sunday. Turns out the Rocker Cover Gasket had shit itself and was making the rocker cover lift off the head and was spraying oil all over the wind tray (i think thats waht its called?) under the sump and the wind & rain in Sydney was spraying all the crap onto the gearbox, tailshaft, petrol tank and made it look like it was leaking oil or petrol. Mechanic gave it a full degrease under the car & engine bay (saves me doing it on saturday for toranafest :D ), gave her an oil change and tune. She is now right on the money and ready to turn some heads :tease: in newcastle.

I'll be there! I booked the Hatch in to get the gearbox swapped and a clutch kit put in all for $150 if i supply to lot. That will be done on friday so i will definatly be there! I was going to meet you all on the freeway but i think i might make the trek down to where the cruise starts.

its located bettween munmorah and swansea on the highway to newcastle, you cant miss it. Its a pretty shady petrol station, I dont recommend getting fuel there, but it would be a good piss/drink/break stop
