hey torana,mate still keen meeting up b4 we leave here my mate will be up tomorrow in his torry,he is bringing up a standard dissy and coil for my car,as i have some dramas with the super coil and twin point dissy,did buy a commy electronic off ebay but seems i have been riped off,so hope saturday i hope to cruise around here to make sure its good to go,then give the old girl a polish,
hey julian maybe we can meet up saturday and sort out sunday,be good to meet up with more cars.. cheers craig

Maybe a lot of Sydney people are not entering/taking their Torries so dont have to be there as the gates open or something. I suppose if i wasnt taking mine i would cruise up at my own pace a bit later in the morning.

I've now gotto work on sunday NIGHT, so i'll still be heading up with you all, but wont be staying till terribly late!

taking the old pacific highway so no convoy for me. maybe another time. I would but its such a nicer drive up the pcific highway and im not in the mood to get up early (we have a practice night in the sprintcar at parramatta speedway on the saturday) so will just have to catch you all there. :spoton: Hey guys good to see some enthusiasm for Toranafest see you all there.

At last count some fifty cars are already pre entered and the entries on the day could see close to if not over 100 cars.

It is hoped to have at least three Brock Race Cars (replicas?) on hand to form a centre piece in tribute to the graet man himself and the event will have a programmed salute to PB on the day.

Memorium hand outs are also being arranged for the day (hopefully).

So see you all there Torana or not, (leave the Ford in the parking lot! but your welcome as well)

Hey All,

Looks like I may have the torana finished late late tonight, so i am going to do my best to make it to Toranafest.

Can i confirm the meetup is at 6:30am at Thornleigh McDonalds......

I am just about to leave to MC a wedding, and will be finishing the car after the wedding, rented suit and all!

If this changes, will someone mind either smsing or calling me on 0413699445 to advise of the changes.

If i dont hear from anyone, i will see you tomorrow at 6:30am :D

Ohh, and as my spare tyre has had it, if any of you that are going to cruise up have 1, 14 inch steel HQ pattern rim with a reasonable tyre and want to sell it please sms me, or if you have one i can borrow as a worse case scenario it will be greatly appreciated.

Toranafest was GR8!

top day for it too...myself and Keith toured all the cars..bumped into Chris where he was propositioned by a bunch of guys asking him to their formal...they must have thought he was Jennifer Hawkins...its OK.. they only want him for his car.

It was a top day. I counted around 80 Toranas. Only stayed until after the rev up tribute to Peter Brock. It was good to see that the forum members who said they were coming actually did as well as there tag alongs which are always welcome. Who knows maybe next year we can get afew more people to come along and maybe my Hatch will be ready for a show...... Best not to get to hopeful. It was a long drive. But it was worth it.

^^^Totally Agree was a great day, couldnt ask for more perfect weather today (which is why i look like a lobster right now!!).Was good to catch up with some of the guys again and meet some more of the forum members, also to show the LJ off - the quality of cars has motivated me to really aim high with her & get her ready for next year ($$$ permitting of course :D ). Definentley a long drive but totally worth it.

This was my first Toranafest and had a great day.

Very good location and relaxed atmosphere.

Thanks to the guys from the Hunter Valley club for organising things so well. Hope they made heaps for Ronald Mc Donald house.

Was an awesome day, i didnt go expecting to get anything but it certainly was a bonus to walk away with 1st in lc/lj/ta/hb 4 door daily!! was soo surprised. problem was it was too nicer day, now myself and my better half look a tad red and sore. anyways was good to catch up with keith, scott and josh, didnt meet any new ppl from the forums tho, ie ven had a little note saying "orangeLJ on GMH-torana.com" obviously didnt work!! lol.
