Top stuff guys.. thats 21 100% confirned racers.. i'm really glad to hear that! I'm sure we;ll get a few more turn up on the day.. i had almost 40 "confirmed" entires on my latest spreadsheet..

Keep hassling the other members anyone else you know to get more 110% entries..

I beleive CHOPPER is bringing support also with his van.

I'm not bringing support, I'm bringing SUPPER! I'm bringing a cheese cake to share and probably some soft drink as well. My van has only done 8000 KM since new, I won't be bringing or needing any tools. Well, maybe a bottle opener.

These were the orignal plans,

Meet at Kmart (cnr. Mahoney's Rd and Sydney Rd, (Hume Hwy)) at 7:00am for a 8:00am departure

So is anybody else up for it other than SPJ, Shevster and me?

That's my plan. I have a specialist appointment @ 6.00 AM @ Croydon on Saturday morning. Won't guarentee I'll be there @ 7.00 AM, but I'll do my best.

I want to but budget is tight as going away the following weekend. :cry:
Missus said yes, boy said yes take the Hatch dad, bank manager (me) advised against it. :cry: I owe it to the missus to take her away for a weekend as I have spent a lot of time over the last 14 mths on the hatch and we haven't been married 2 yrs yet.

Chopper how many Toranas have u gone thru in the last few months? U cant pick up a Trado and Find the Perfect lady friend! i think its more like finding an A9X!

Did a 15.2 a couple of years ago at calder. With that place been slippery and the fact that its now running a 3.55 LSD instead of a 3.36 open diff, as well as some nice Yoko A032rs, I'd be hoping that it will lower the time abit.

Yeah, ill be up for travelling up in a Group! Maybe meet up at Lilydale Maccas or something... Cos ill be heading up through monbulk to get to lilydale....

Im thinking, i got a choice of 2 diffs to put in tomorrow, i got a Welded up 3.9 or a Open 3.08... What one should i put in, taking into account that ill need to drive up there and cant afford to waste a bucket load of petrol, What sought of revs would i sit on at 100kmh with the 3.9?

And how dangerous will it be with the Locked Diff driving around the mountains?

Not sure where I'm meeting yet, will see what others are doing, would probably prefer to go up the hume.

253toranaSS, what g/box are you running? aussie 4 speed (M20/M21?), if you can supply the ratio for 4th gear I should be able to work out the revs at 100 for both diff ratios. Locked diff should be safe unless its wet :o lol

EDIT: oh yeah, will also need tyre/wheel info to calculate revs. ie, 225/50/14, something like that...

I've heard of a couple of Torrys coming this Saturday of whom the owners don't use the Forums (or the internet much). One I beleive is a worked 308 LJ and the other is a 308 LX.
Assuming they are not thinking of Sunday the "Nostalgia Drags", we may see them there this Saturday.
But based on all this chit chat, I reckon there may be a few Torrys that could attend this Saturday that are not members of this forum but have heard about this event. Well I hope so anyway.
