....just heard the unconfirmed reports, and got on here....You guys seem to have just confirmed my worst fears - I just can't believe it.....

....I am still hoping there has been an error, though it seems unlikely - what a sad week for Australia :cry:

Looks like I best fuel the Torrie up for a drive to Melbourne. I was always going to do that if the inevitable ever happened, just didn't think it would be so soon.

It was the Daytona with Mick Hone the ex Suzuki superbike rider and dealer from Melbourne navigating..no word on Mick yet.

Yes exactly my same reaction, absolutly gutted. Hero of mine such a great shame, will leave many memories even to a young bloke like my self.

Even with 1000's of hours of experience under his belt in all conditions and at all speeds... things can still go horribly wrong in cars.

At least he died doing the thing he loved and was so passionate for.

Just heard. The news just said he is feared dead, nothing has been confirmed but by the sounds of things, he may and well truly be gone.

just saw it on channel 10 news update
my eyes have gone as big as dinner plates, and my jaw has just sort of dropped
i cant beleive it, and hope that it is just a mistake
