Hm9c's turned up. Few welding dags to clean up but dont seem overall too bad. Mandrel bends for the primaries would have been nice but i guess cant expect that for off the shelf products...
Fit them up with rest of the system end of the week. Will prob go with no res for now, hoping the glass packed magnaflow muffler will take the ugly crackle out. If not will get a res fitted up later.

Always hated the factory collectors etc i always end up cutting them off and making a larger new one seems stupid to come from 1 3/4" or 1/58" etc dual into a single 2" or what ever they fit then go into a 2.5"exhaust.

And its always as if they dont care which way the collector points etc. Had one when fitted it pointed up into the floor rather than straight back so had to cut it off to fit the exhaust anyway.....

Well I'll throw this out to the WA boys.. next year (while off i know), when budget allows, I'll get my motor back onto engine dyno. If we can get a few different sets I'd like to do some back to back. .

Thats a great idea.

And ive had a change of heart, took the exhaust shops advice and they are gonna fit a small res.

Last year I got my exhaust redone. I kept my same extractors (Hm9c's). Previously I had a 2.5" system with no resonator and it ran straight under the diff and finished with a LUKEY muffler with a single outlet. It was loud, the exhaust guy said it sounded like an old truck, other's just thought it sounded tough.

The new system is 2.5" mandrel bent stainless with a resonator then up and over the diff and finishing with a twin 2 1/4"outlet muffler (maybe" X force" or something from memory). Now it sounds much nicer with a real sweet note and isn't so load and obnoxious. It also gives better flow than the previous set up I believe. I noticed that my AFR dropped slightly, I assume due to better flow.

Hm9c's are fitted. Exhaust shop want to have words with hm in a dark alley somewhere and apart from costing me a kidney to have it all fitted up its all good. They modded the headers in a few spots to clear so the car didnt have to be cut/shut at all. They have done a nice job and very happy what they did with the muffler aswell. Has definitely picked up some torque and horsepowers
