I would love to stretch it on a chassis dyno for a tune up but I always would worry about the Aussie hand grenade (m21). 10 bolt should be OK.

With the pipes you are using around 450-460 hp.. and it will probably fall over at around 6800rpm.
Dont suppose you know if the cam is straight up and down?
With a bit of retard on it you might get it to make power past 7000rpm.
Lets see how my crystal ball looks......

Cheers Greg..

a single plane and good pipes would help it out nicely

Its a pretty genuine dyno...the dual plane and Tri ys will hold it back a bit..Ray said today he chose not to hit the exhaust ports too hard as that will move more power up into the top end and he knows what my agenda was...maybe 500 ft/lbs in the middle isnt out of the question considering the combo....if thats the case..I will be at the next corner ..still thinking about the last one....that "bury your spine in the seat" type of torque.

I think though with good 4 into 1 pipes 1 7/8" or stepped 1 7/8 to 2" primary and a good single plane like a harrop or similar would be the best bet for outright power & still strong torque.
Should be nice toque curve but also i think it will fall flat before 6900 for peak power.
My 380 ci chev with brodix dash 11 ported as far as possible with brodix single plane ,14.5 comp, alcohol 1050 dominator,268 @ 50 duration roller cam,1 7/8 pipes fell over at 7000..but did make 644 hp/560 ft/lbs.Even playing with cam timing on the jesel didnt see f*ck all difference.
You shold have a nice combo though but i still stick with my previous guesstimation of 470 hp at best..i just think the manifold & pipes will hold it back a little.
cheers Ben

The dyno used is also used for several top name Pro Stock drag cars...I think it is very fair in readings I have seen.. We estimate the mid 400s which I feel is a very realistic number...as I said..the real important number will be the torque band and at what revs.the only way that would make 500+hp is on a happy dyno..

I too am interested in the figures, mine is similar but yours will be more developed so I dont expect to match your figures.
