Once again,he has helped me out by donating a split bench seat for The Goon,as I came across some nos seat covers that suit a split bench in Antique Gold.(Thanks for the
lead,Rodomo)
A retrim is now on the shortlist as well.
On the road early in the morning near Glen Innes
In the staging lanes at Warwick
At Munchies on Friday night before the drags.
What a top cruise spot that Munchies is.
Great cars everywhere .
Even a little rice....
I drove off to Warwick when I left Munchies. It was a bloody long, cold night..
But first I had to drop my buddys off at Yatala, and grab some dinosaur juice.
And of course, check the oil and water....
It never used a drop the whole trip.
Bloody legendary,them 161s.
More on the retrim, the lowering and the wheel update when Ive done it.

craig, this is the goon gate i found, has a few patches of rust, would this be a hk tailgate?if you don,t want no probs i,ll hang with all my other panels.has no rust along bottom, just under stainless trim, and the other strange place.
HK tailgate, mate, but it looks sweet to me.
Nothing I cant deal with, thats for sure.
Once again,thanks.
I'll be in touch when I can organise to get back up there.Soon ,I hope.

It looks good to me Craig ,I had a blue one white roof , I often wonder how much the exhaust manifold off the early , would benifit my UC .
got plenty of early manifolds here, when craig returns he can grab one for you free, did you end up getting your wheel trims i have 2 good ones that need a home, also did you end up getting a fj diff centre,i think i have a fx one but don,t know the difference.
hey craig ,the life and times of the HT goon are a great story, keep up the travel updates, great veiwing, the HK prem looks sweet.

Gunna circumnavigate the bottom half of the country, from Sydney to Perth via the coast all the way, about 5000km I think, then plan a route to come back.
If you see me on the road, give me a wave,Ill try and send some action pics of the trek to a few of the fellas and try and talk them into posting them up.

WTF is a chilly bin?
Spelling is incorrect.
Correct spelling is "chully bun".
Apparently you keep your illegal "fush" in it according to this show tonight.

Yup, a chilly bun, for ya beers as you take it to ya crib/bach while strutting round in ya togs and jandles, maaaaaaaaaaaaaate
seriously though, don't get me started on them poachers. I'm far from an environmentalist but I am a keen fisherman and the bastards should have their necks wrung. Worst one was a fella who took the under floor foam out of his tinny & had hundreds of undersize snapper hidden in there.
Trips looking good so far

wot left here at about 9.30am yesterday and opted to go through Melbourne to Geelong.
We had spoken about going the other way down the peninsula and putting the car on the Sorrento-Queenscliff ferry which would have taken him almost so the start of the great ocean road. As soon as I mentioned "TOLL" that changed his mind.
I recieved a text from him last night at about 7.30 saying he was between Warnambool and Portland and the car was going fine. He was planning to get to Mt Gambier and stay there the night.
Then, via e-mail, this from his phone about an hour ago.
