Kiwi's saying subaru as sooBAHroo
I have found alot of Victorians (not all- don't get s#!tty) say nissan as niTsan
I've had an argument with someone over people in Adelaide saying school as sKool not bloody sKoo-WEL
Location can confuse people aswell- here a yiros is the rolled up thing others call a kebab. We call a kebab the bits of meat and veggies held by a skewer, aka 'shish-kebab' more likely said as shish-kebOb'
My mates and I call an ATM just that- only ATM. And if we're around each other and someone says ATM machine, we look at each other and enquire- do you mean an ATM machine-machine. Most people realise what they said and just smile.
And they don't have fritz in Sydney...
And I've never used aluminum!

Is that suBAAAAAroo?

Thats a Doner kebab here, as opposed to a shish kebeb.
And fritz is devon over here.

If you're going to start a thread about spelling then you really should get your own spelling correct :
NOMENCLATURE

I was chatting to a bloke many years ago about his "worked"
EH holden.
He was saying how he took the "79" out of the car and stuck an "86" in her then took it out and
bored it to a "92" and now it was "full house" !!
As I was a young fella and just started hanging aroung the hot rodders I didnt have a clue what he was saying, so I
asked him "how many bedrooms has it got?"

Seems that while i was asleep, the english spelling [you know....the stuff they used to teach at school?] for a bunch of wires has been changed.
It used to be called a 'loom'.......now it's 'lume'!

In this eBay listing, the seller and the buyer must have had the same English teacher. Check the question and the response.

*giggle* Almost every post in this thread so far has consisted of either incorrect spelling, incorrect grammar or incorrect punctuation. Whilst I find nonsensical eBay ads slightly amusing, I get a bigger laugh from ironic finger pointing.
Lighten up lads, its the internet and we are all guilty of not being perfect little Oxford Scholars.
Anyway, carry on, as I am collating a great list of misspelled words to search eBay with.

*God help me if there are any spelling mistakes in this post* Hehehehehehe.
