septone probably the best choice there. glass fibre filler is for boats or cheat rust repairs.

ive used septone and its not too bad.

Waiting on an offer, if its good ill take it and possibly look to buy another one a bit further done or buy a 4wd.

Syd is ok but not much further than than (i live in bowral)

Most of it, i got a cheque from passed uncle that i wasn't expecting which basicly allows me to cover it all. I was gonna go with the guy in mittagong here if he isn't to busy unless anyone highly recomends someone else.

Just a suggestion.

Put it on a trailer and take it to someone who you know will do a good job.

Havent been involved in the game for a while.

But I have seen the results of guys paying top dollar for repairs.

All lapped joints. No butt welding.

Jobs still turned out ok.

 

Chase up the Thirlmere Flyers Guys

They have some really neat cars and would know who was who in your area.

yea they're a bit far away, i'd like to watch it all come together and maybe help out a bit. Andrew ash has won a few comps at summernats and so on so im pretty sure he would do a good job. Just looking for other options incase he is massivly busy

Most shops wont let you help out.

They have insurance obligations.

But there are some that will.

From experience with friends shops they dont like the customers turning up a lot.

While they are chatting to you work isnt getting done and money not being made.
