I've never noticed this colour before but I saw it at the shops and thought that it's a rockin' colour. It'll look good on a hatch :)
Does anyone know what it's called? Maybe a paint code?

Yep red is what you ask for & cheaper to buy at Bunnings, just make sure you grab a heap of brushes & or a roller as they tend to dry out after use :fool:

Lol its called 'Sting Red' i think. Pretty sure its been the same as all clubsports since the VN/VP range and the HSV GTO coupe. I really like Voodoo Blue from the VE series as well and would work well with blackouts.

Here's a colour that would either make you puke, or - opposite of puking - whatever that is.

Personally, love the colour (cars not too bad too)

Posted Image
sort of barbados green??

Nah, that photo makes it look okay but in the flesh they got it SO WRONG. Barbados is much, much nicer!

Nothing like a bright solid colour though. Particularly on a Torana

Hello friends of the mighty Torana,
I've put this post up, because I want to find a truly awesome colour to paint my hatch.
However, I think that there are others out in Toranaland that would like to get some inspiration or to help them find a colour also.......

So I think it would be cool if we posted up pics and as much info (paint codes or paint names, brands etc) as possible to help those (me included) :) make a decision on a colour to paint our prized machines with. It doesn't even need to be a pic of a Torry!

The Pro Street style LJ with the reverse cowl scoop is the closest match to the colour of my car I have been able to find yet!.......my colour was a blend of metallic blue with a slop of pearl on a black base coat!....my painter had some paint that he had lying about that he mixed together until it looked ok in the can,and then sprayed an old guard he had kicking about and I just about fell over when I saw it!!!..........I call it "No-name Midnight Blue/Pearl"

I wondered what hothouse green would look like on a hatch, so I googled it and I found this
Sorry about the poor pic but I did pinch it from the net :)

Posted Image

I think it looks good on a hatch, especially if the bonnet was black.
I know colour choice is a personal preference but what is the general consensus? Is it Hothouse green or is it shithouse green?

That is V6Hatch's car. He's a member here. In person it looks fantastic but that car was run up the arse and it had a complete respray in Papaya now which looks amazing.
