Hi All, I havn't posted before but i thought that i would start putting up some pics of what i'm playing with at the mo!

'The Project'
71 LC Torana 4 door
'The Plan'
ZZ4 350 Chev (on its way from the States)
Turbo 350 trans with custom converter
Mini Tubs
3:55, 9" Diff
HQ ventilated front disc brakes
VS Commodore rear disc brakes (HQ stud pattern)
15x6" Convo Pro's for the front
15x10" Convo Pro's for the rear with 295 tyres
CRS chassis kit

The plan is to 'dummy' it all up before pulling it apart for paint / panel. Then a neat standard style leather interior that wont age in 12 months !

I hope to have this completed in 12 to 18 months and will continue to post pics as it comes along, no dobt i will be asking many questions along the way

Front tyres are 15" 165's i've put them on new Leyland P76 discs with adapters from Rod Tech in Adelaide. The tyres on the rear are only 265's at the moment but i think that i may leave them on there as they look ok on the 10" rim.
I will post some pics of the rear when i get it off the hoist in a few weeks

Nah its not original. Its a cheap re-spray that someone did straight over the top of the old baby sh%t brown. Not sure what colour it is at all sorry

Loving all the Adelaide cars popping up, what area are you in bud? This is a very mean looking machine, love the factory duco, very similar to mine (except a bit more 'pro' than street)
Very interrested in doing tubs similar but at this point in time my shocker mount is basically against the mudgaurd, coilovers is a much better oprion but I'm keeping mine for corners as well as straight line stuff.
Keep up the good work!

Cheers Tyre fryer, i'm on the western side. The duco looks better in the pictures than it actually is, new paint and panel starts in about three weeks and i cant wait.

You can still corner fine with coil overs if you set them up right, i have them in my other toy and it handles quite well (although i wouldn't race it around the hills). :3gears:

Off to the chassis shop to get the steering relocation kit put in and the coil overs put on and set up on the rear end. Going to get them to put the chassis kit on while its there as i've heard they can be fun to do !

Here's a pic of the rear end. Once the coil overs are on and it comes back from the chassis shop the panel work starts. Then i can get its bum alot closer to the asphalt.
