Lol. Expect the bloke thats fitting the chassis kit to be cranky for a few days, they are a bugger to fit. Well mine was anyway.

Yeah he knows and he's not looking forward to it, he had a bit of a giggle at the steering relocation kit as well, they are definately not worth the money! A good fabricator could make one easily.

Steering relocation is now done

Dont bother purchasing a CRS kit for this just get the above plate if you can and use your own steering shaft. The kit doesn't fit and it's not worth the money!

More pics of the steering relocation

Wicked stuff mate, how much rootin around for the chassis kit to fit? I swear they don't jig their products, just lay em out on the floor and weld it up!
What sort of power you chasing from this thing? Got a finish date in mind yet?

Keep up the good work
Cheers

I got Walker Chassis here in Adelaide to put it in because everyone has told me how much stuffing around it is. Lance said it took a bit of manipulating to get it right. He did the steering relocation and tubs as well and does a great job at a fair price, check out his web site www.walkerchassis.com.au he is also doing a bit of other stuff for me.

I'd like to have it finished by christmas but i can see it blowing out by another 6 months :Headbang2: so around this time next year hopefully. Motor is a ZZ4 350 crate motor from the states, pretty tame around 365 hp for rego

Had the box made to fit the custom 22 gallon fuel cell. Electric pump and filter mounts are custom made to suit the Holley inline billet pump on the outside at the front of the box. Pumps good for 900 horses on a carbed motor (better do some work on the motor ! lmao

This is what it looks like from the back. You can hardly see it - just what i wanted !!

And this is what it looks like if you squat down underneath. It gives me enough room to run the exhaust right up high between the chassis rail and the tank box.

Nice. That exactly how I'm doing my rear aswell, but I'm having the spare wheel well boxed for battery, and a sunken tool box between passengers side rail and rear quarter. Plus I'm going to try a little custom exhaust tip work at rear that hasn't been seen on torri yet.
The problem I found today at the exhaust shop while it was on hoist is that if u have the exhaust exiting along the chassis rails (if it's a twin system) it'll be a bit wonky, coz the rails aren't the same distance from guards.
Can't wait to see it your torri finished, it's lookin good.

Hey Shannon, looks like you also have a pretty good donk for yours as well !! I haven't decided yet wether to run a spare or not. If i do i will get a run flat rim and tyre and put my battery box on the left otherwise i will get rid of the tyre well and have a sunken battery box on the right. I am also going to have cut outs at the back for the exhaust (well thats the plan anyay )

Custom fuel tank has been made to suit the 'fuel box'. Tank is baffled with the pick at the rear and outlet at the front. Also has a fuel return inlet and breather outlet. Tank is approximately 80 litre capacity

The polished stainless straps should look good when the protective coating is peeled off. Have to get some 3mm rubber to place under the tank and straps when it is finally fitted up after painting

Sweet we can be twins. Lol.
My engineer said that a spare tire isn't needed, aslong as you have a can of tire repair/inflate in your car.

Cool Shannon, i'm not sure if you need a spare in SA either, i don't run one in my hot rod just a couple of cans of zoosh and a mini pump and that passed rego no problems. Guess i better check with Regency to make sure

Thanks LJ355, the pickup is at the rear of the tank in the lowest spot and then has an internal line to come out of the front of the tank to the electric pump. I reckon they did a killa job on it

Very well said Greenmachine i can relate to that running on a treadmill line !!
