 cait wait for colour ✌️

Me too. Can't bloody wait :)

Thinking about remodelling my house to put the car in the dining room so I can see it all the time when it's finished.

Cheers,

Liz :)

Looks great Liz! Very exciting and satisfying once the paint is on and you know all that rust is gone! Looking forward to seeing the colour 😊

That is a great body. Wish mine was that good I know there is nasty under it. But this will be a good build solid from the start.

Thanks Mark, really looking forward to the colour too.

Thanks Danny, There's always surprises I guess even with a really good car. My bonnet sure was a surprise but that's been the only negative one so been lucky with the resto.

Cheers,

Liz :)

Yeah Stuart, sure am. Can't wait to see it with some colour and I've been dreaming of the first drive. I have only driven this car around the paddock once so I am really, really keen to get it.

Cheers,

Liz :)

Back to it's original colour of Papaya

Not polished primer

As good as that sounds, um, Nah ;) I really like the bright colours too so was lucky that it had a nice bright original colour to redo.

Cheers,

Liz :)

At this stage in a build I always wish I could just clear the bare metal and keep it like that, I love the 'naked' look of freshly sanded bare steel, although it makes panel work a bitch!

Yeah, same. bare metal looks cool as but probably not very practical. Have you thought of buying a Delorean? Think they're bare metal aren't they?

Cheers,

Liz :)

Thanks Chris, so many really great, bright colours to choose from. The 70s were a great era in that respect and the cars themselves of course.

Cheers,

Liz :)
