Yup sure is the correct term - mine is going for the full SLR5000 blackout treatment. The guys at the shop reckon only another week or so for paint - then I have the fun of putting it back together.

Well seeing as I was not doing it - I did not build it.....however I will post some before and after shots soon.....hope to have it all back together for the big October cruise - so if you folks are coming to that (perth folks) then you can see it live - always better than photos.
PS - I am married - I am used to shame....
PPS - and no I cannot wait.....miss driving the beast..

Yeah, I was lucky that it had its full set of hub caps with it so I've had the dress rims (dress trims?) re chromed and they're perfectly shiny and ready to go back on. Lucky to have them seeing as how much they seem to sell for these days.
This is the car as I bought it. Hub caps and all.
