OK..gOING TO STAY WITH TRADITION..308 l34 HEADS ETC..hAVE AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST IN THE CAR SO WILL KEEP YOU UP TO DATE ON THE BUILD..TIME TO COLLECT MORE BITS AND GET THE ENGINE TO THE BUILDER TO CHECK/REFRESH AND FIT BIGGER CAM ETC.

Just pulled the sump and someone has done some serious work on this engine. I can still see the hone marks in the bores and noticed it has "X" rods in it and flat top ACL pistons. BONUS!!..So will pull the heads , check the cam size and measure everything but at the moment it appears..as MRNOS said...the engine was just rebuilt.

Popped a head off....light layer of carbon on the pistons that just flaked out with a light scrap and still see hone marks...it's new.

Better news..the heads are 92027335, last of the big valve VL heads..1.94 inlets, 1.60 exhausts.same as L34...this just gets better.

Got enthusiastic today..rear seat in,SLR interior, ordered the fuel cell and new inlet single plane manifold...engine to builder this week.
