Top result!

Apart from top end hp, how do the curves look comparing the 9 port to the 12 port?  Assume similar outright flow???

Thank's guy's, not sure Ned the gears are slightly different, was 4.56 and 3rd gear, now 5.0 and top gear.

Just by feel the two engines are worlds apart.
The Webers came straight off the 9 port engine with 165 main jet's which were correct, with the 12 port it now has 145's and the a/f is still around 11.5, so i will buy some more jets before i go back to the dyno.

But i think it's really because the carb's are too small even with 40mm chokes.

Im pretty new to webbers but i would think 45-48mm would be more suitable for a 12 port?

Cheers.

Sorry Jason IR is totally different to a draw through setup.
I'm thinking about making a tunnel ram for a couple of pro systems holleys, any of the US record setting cars have that setup, and for good reason.

Sure Jason will, and every choice will be a 48mm webber....

Then he will start a compression ratio thread and ever choice will be 3.2:1....

Cheers.
